How to start

Your first plan and quotation in an afternoon

No computer needed. Everything happens on the phone or tablet you already take to the site.

  1. Install it

    Install Kiyo Build on your Android phone or tablet, tell it your business's name and the kind of work you do, and it sets itself up for that trade. There is no account to create.

  2. Draw or design the plan

    Start from the plot, a 1BHK or 2BHK template or a blank page, or let Design it for me offer plans inside the setbacks, then change it to suit the client.

  3. Estimate and quote

    Make a quick estimate or a BOQ from the plan at your rates, turn it into a quotation and a stage payment schedule, and send it on WhatsApp.

  4. Add Pro when you need it

    When you run more than one project at a time or need more than 3 floor plans, subscribe to Pro inside the app, through Google Play or the App Store, for ₹499 a month or ₹4,999 a year. New subscribers get the first 7 days free.
Your data and your plan

Your plans stay on your phone. Your subscription stays with your store account.

Kiyo Build has no Kiyosoft server and no account. Pro is a Google Play or App Store subscription, and backups are encrypted with a key that only your phone and your own Google or Apple account hold. Your clients, projects and drawings never reach us.

Your plans stay on your phone

Clients, projects, floor plans, estimates, site diaries, payments and photos are kept in the app on your phone. Kiyo Build has no server holding them.

Kiyosoft never sees your plans or your clients.

New phone?

Restore your backup on the new phone. The key that opens it comes back from your Google or Apple account, or you type in the recovery code, and Pro comes back with it.

Keep the recovery code somewhere safe: without the key, a backup cannot be opened.

If you cancel Pro

Cancel at any time in Google Play or the App Store. Pro lasts to the end of the period you paid for, then the app goes back to Free, with its limits. Everything you entered stays, and nothing is ever locked away.

Is the free version really free?

Yes, for as long as you like, with every feature on this page. Free keeps 1 active project at a time and 3 floor plans in all. Handed-over and cancelled projects do not count, and deleting a plan frees its place. At a limit only starting one more waits: every project and plan you already have keeps working, and nothing is ever locked away.

Where is my data kept?

Only on your phone. Kiyo Build has no server holding your clients, projects or plans, so we could not see them if we wanted to. Backups, plans, photos and voice notes included, are encrypted with your own key; copy one off the phone now and then.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no Kiyosoft account to create. Kiyo Build makes a key for your business on your phone and saves it to your own Google account or iCloud Keychain; your backups are encrypted with it, and your Pro subscription is kept under an anonymous ID worked out from it. Write down the recovery code the app shows you, in case the key does not come back by itself on a new phone.

Can I submit its drawings for approval?

The approval set (site plan, area statement, floor plans, front elevation and a section) is laid out on numbered sheets with signature boxes, as PDF or DXF. It is a starting point: a licensed engineer or architect must check and sign it, and check it against your local body's rules, before it is submitted.

Does it do structural design?

No. Kiyo Build draws plans and works out areas and quantities, but it does not design beams, columns, footings or steel, and its plans are not structural drawings. That needs a licensed engineer.

Which building rules does it follow?

The setbacks and FSI come from the Tamil Nadu Combined Development and Building Rules, 2019, as amended, for ordinary plots. Special areas such as heritage, coastal, hill or airport zones are not covered, and other states' rules are not in it yet, so check with your local body.

How exact are the estimates?

As exact as the drawing and your rates. The BOQ is measured from the plan, and the parts the plan cannot show, such as the foundation, columns, electrical and plumbing, are priced per sq ft by the usual thumb rules. The rates start at typical Tamil Nadu 2026 figures; change them to yours. Every figure can be changed, and quantities should be checked at the site.

Does it work with AutoCAD?

Yes. Plans and the approval set save as DXF (CAD) files at their real size, in layers, to open in AutoCAD and other CAD programs, and an architect's DXF can be traced under a plan in the app.

Can I draw in feet and inches?

Yes, or in metres. Type lengths as 12'6", 12.5' or 3.8 m and the app understands them. New plans use the units you choose in the settings.

Is there an iPhone or iPad version?

Kiyo Build is made for Android phones and tablets first, through Google Play. The App Store version for iPhone and iPad is on its way, and this page will link to each store when the app is there.

Does it send WhatsApp messages by itself?

No. Kiyo Build opens WhatsApp or the share sheet with the message, quotation, plan or report filled in, and you press send. Nothing goes out without you.

Does it need the internet?

No. Plans, 3D, estimates, the site diary and bills all work offline. The app goes online only when you share something, when you speak to it (your phone's speech service may need the internet), and to check your Pro subscription with Google Play or the App Store.

What does Pro add?

No limits: as many active projects and floor plans as the business needs. And your brand only: no "Prepared with Kiyo Build" line on the quotations, bills and slips you share. Every other feature is in Free too.

Can I try it first?

Yes. The free version is yours for as long as you like, and new subscribers to Pro get the first 7 days free. Cancel in Google Play or the App Store before the 7 days end and you are not charged.

What happens if I cancel Pro?

Pro renews each month or year until you cancel it in Google Play or the App Store. It then lasts to the end of the period you paid for, and the app goes back to Free, with its limits. Everything you entered stays and keeps working; nothing is ever locked away.

Can I get a refund?

Pro is paid to Google Play or Apple, so refunds go through them, under their refund policies. See Refunds in the small print for how to ask.
